Iirumva Isaac
Iirumva Isaac is a self-taught Rwandan artist. He describes his work as ‘twenty first century contemporary’, being influenced by global culture and technological advancement. His largely figurative artworks are inspired by cultural dialogues, identities, characters and his memories. Over the last four years he has exhibited in Rwanda and abroad, most recently in a solo exhibition titled ‘Marriage and Humour’ and in the Triennial of Drawing and Sculpture, ‘Walk the Line’ in Serbia.
