Muriithi Samuel

In YEAR Muriithi Samuel studied fine art and design, majoring in painting, at the Kenyatta University in Nairobi, Kenya. Samuel’s work is strongly influenced by his daily experiences and societal changes in his environment. He is drawn to still lifes in his day to day life and local activities in his community. He believes that the objects, activities and people that surround oneself mirror the image of the society we are in. This is reflected in his impressionistic work.
Muriithi has participated in several exhibitions in Kenya. Some of those exhibitions in 2021 include ‘The Yellow Exhibition’ at oneoff Gallery, ‘Manjano’ exhibition at Alliance Francaise, ‘The souk pop up exhibition’ and ‘The Karen Country club pop up exhibition.’
